During December 2022 I attended my first market stalls for my business, which was a great experience. In 2020 during the first lockdown I decided to start my own business as I have always loved creating. Since then my business has grown and the variety of products I create has increased. My business is called Agift4theseasons where I sell a range of hand painted items for gifts, on Etsy and social media. I had never sold at an event before so having my own stall at two locations was an amazing experience. The market stalls were at Liverpool Hope University and Old Christ Church in Waterloo.
The event at Liverpool Hope University was my first stall that I have done which was great to practice how to display my products and gain experience of selling my items in person. I brought most of my products with me which just about fitted on the table space I had.

The stall at Old Christ Church was a great experience and was very different to the event at the university as many people from the public came and the types of stalls were very different. The weather of the day of the event was not great which caused less people to come as the weather was icy and snowy in some areas but it was still a great turnout. I am hoping to have a stall here again next Christmas.

I found the business stalls to be great experience, I really enjoyed setting out the tables, interacting with customers and meeting other independent business owners. I would love to do more this year.
If you would like to check out the products I sell I have them displayed on my Etsy and Instagram Agift4theseasons.
SOO awesome!!
